We’ll see how it goes. I tend to do better with old machinery than I do with new. I’ve been sewing everything by hand because a) my mom’s modern machine is always buried in junk and b) it is a cantankerous plastic pain in the butt that I’m afraid I’m gonna break if I sew anything more involved than a cotton handkerchief.

This thing has survived 100 years of war and hardship. This gives me confidence that it will survive me. Plus look at it, it is gorgeous! aaaaahhh
