So I woke up one morning and ended up with this gorgeous machine. To put it in perspective of how old this thing is…it was probably built sometime between the Titanic disaster and the Prohibition. During the era of WWI, Model Ts, ballroom music…
This machine saw the Roaring 20s, survived the Great Depression, World War II…
And now I get to use it to sew things.

That is absolutely beyond gorgeous! Ugh, words do not describe my incredibly high level of jealousy. Seriously, what a beautiful piece of history, not to mention machinery!

Thank you! I know, I can’t quite believe it, myself! I was intending to save up and buy a sewing machine of some kind, and then this one landed in my lap and I fell in love. It needs some cleaning, but I’m pretty confident that it is going to be in great working condition soon.
