Ya’ll are going to stage a hydra-style mutiny for this but I do not understand the obsession with Halloween. Yea it’s a fun holiday and I’m a cosplayer, I love to dress up but that’s about it for me. I don’t like spooky things or skeletons or… pumpkin. It’s not even October yet gaiz.  I DON’T GET IT OKAY

It was always kind of a rebellion thing for me I guess. But also a social thing. Not so much into the commercialized “ooh ghosties goblins” whatever. But candy, I like candy. And costumes. ALL THE COSTUMES. It’s the one night when everybody turns into a cosplayer and the entire town becomes one big weird convention where we all carry bags of candy.

And maybe, MAYBE I dressed up like a zombie-ish person one year.

I love Halloween because not only is October a month where I can wear costumes all the time, but other people do, too 🙂 People who otherwise wouldn’t.
