Our escape pod was captured by a Starfleet vessel called the USS Splendid. Or…perhaps rescued. Either way, Tovan and I are now in their custody. The Splendid’s captain and I didn’t get off to the most diplomatic start, but he seems to be a fair man. At the very least, he didn’t shoot us.
