my dream last night was me playing three different parts in this film about aliens passively occupying Earth until they suddenly gassed everyone and threw them into makeshift camps made from shopping malls

one person was this lady who was slowly crumbling inside in fear while trying to control everything around her
one person was a woman who was secretly alien and secretly knew what was going on, but couldn’t tell anyone even though she was starting to sympathize with the humans
one person was a young guy who had sort of ended up in the middle of everything and genuinely wanted to help, but didn’t know how, and people kept asking him to help with rescues and such when crap hit the fan because BIG STRONG STRAPPING MAN etc, but he kept bungling things despite his best efforts and the one thing he did excel at was comforting this little girl who was terrified.
