I love how friendly everyone is here?? So many random conversations with strangers; the waitress, the guy working the till, the lady in the gas station, so many people on the street, the awesome vegan chick at that bar, the sweet lady cleaning the rooms – the second I strike up a conversation y’all seem so genuinely happy to chat to me it’s sweet

California is an outlier and should not be counted. Most of the west coast shouldn’t be counted either… this is coming from a cali native that has to live in illinois

Aww don’t say that! Everyone seems stuck into what they’re doing right up till I say hey and try n treat em as another person and then it’s all sweetness 😃

The cultures are seriously that different.

Yours and mine?

In the states. Go from region to region and it’s like whole other nations

In the South, everyone pretends to be nice but inside they’re judging
you, deciding whether to condescendingly reply “bless yer heart” or
shoot you.

The Midwest, everyone is dead inside, but outside friendly.

The East Coast is ok, but kind of like the physical embodiment of the Internet. Most people pretty much ignore you unless you get in their face. Crowds. Everyone is lonely and no one knows why.

The
Northwest people can be surface cold and have HUGE personal space
bubbles, but generally are pretty tolerant and cool once you get them
out of their shells.

California was the best place I ever lived. California people are very alive and aware and adventurous.
