I just remembered that I had this bizarre dream that I was in some kind of post-apocalyptic world, and my friends and I found our way to a haven of survivors and it was strangely just AWESOME. Like, everyone there was totally content and happy, and having a good time, and it was clean, and apparently this retro-futuristic airport place with a huge water park in the middle. And I figured out that it was a long-abandoned Chicago airport that had been flooded, converted to a water park, abandoned, and now was cleaned up and home to a bunch of people, and there was apparently a really awesome arcade/game room down in the lower levels so my friends and I started to head that direction. I looked outside of the window, and there was a GIANT pool in this kinda courtyard place where there used to be terminals and planes, and people were jumping off the building and swinging off of these amusement park thingies and swimming around, and an older guy walked up and talked to me about the game room downstairs, and he said that most of the games were gone now, though some were probably still there, but he didn’t seem to know he was in Chicago, so he was happy to hear that news. And then I woke up.

???

Nothing about that dream made sense, but at least it wasn’t a nightmare?

I just got a script back that calls for something that is physically impossible to accomplish with my current materials, would be possible with something I could buy online but the nonexistent budget doesn’t allow overnight delivery, and I’m supposed to finish filming this week.

Also I can’t get in touch with my writer because her computer died so I’m just sitting here hacking up her script so that I can actually shoot it on time and fluffing it up with dialogue and pretty ponies and *CHRISTMAS* to hopefully distract people from the plot not making much sense. Considering the audience, I don’t have a lot to worry about but still. I feel bad that I can’t put my 100% into this.

I have never felt more like a TV producer than in this moment.

I tend to stay away from AP cannons, they definitely dont suit me. I’m pretty much a beam boat, four Mk X antiprotons on the front, three Mk X on the back with a Quantum Torpedo. That seems to be the only combination I can get to work well!

Ahhh ok. I’ve been running cannons the last couple of months. I like the feel of flying a nimble machine gun but I think it does lower the dps. Beams just don’t work so well when I’m zigzagging all over everywhere. I threw one in the back to catch the Vaadwaur when they yo-yo behind me and leave their shields exposed, and that’s worked out really well.

I’ve always seemed to have really bad luck with everything apart from antiproton! Like I heard disruptors were really good, so I tried them with all the disruptor tactical consoles and such and I couldn’t seem to do as much DPS as AP :O AP seems to be my lucky weapon because that seems to be the only type of weapon i can get to work well 😦

I’m not sure how the DPS compares, I don’t remember. I didn’t have AP very long. I took them into a few battles, had all the consoles, etc, and I wasn’t making any kind of dent with them. A lot of players swear by AP but maybe I wasn’t using them right xD I don’t know. Nothing about the way I prefer to play seems to be typical. Though I have considered trying an AP beam build on a cruiser…it feels like I should give it a second chance. Maybe it’s just the cannons I don’t get along with.

I guess ultimately with weapon type, it seems to comes down to how you like to play and what you fly.
