I am so disoriented. I didn’t know it was Friday until I saw the garbage truck outside this morning.

I think I thought I was in perpetual Wednesday because I was in denial about Thursday. So in my mind, Thursday never happened.
I am really confused.

It’s here and it means I can relax and play STO essentially all weekend after this last class because I’m trash 😀 WHO WILL JOIN ME

Yes! Gotta get through that one mission without transwarping to Defera every few minutes.

What was even HAPPENING there? Did you let Joza drive???

Joza is my helm officer so yes? XD But IDK. There doesn’t seem to be an option for transwarp keybinds, so I have no idea how that got switched on or if it’s some kind of bug. I just know I have to be REALLY careful how I fight nowdays or zooooom.

It seems there were some Cardassians still left on board, alive. They didn’t appreciate our attempts to recycle their unused materials, so they attacked us and we defended ourselves. The entire shipment was successfully beamed onboard the Jevonite with no complications, so we will be underway soon.

What have I become, that I can slaughter my own people, derelict, adrift in their vessel, and feel nothing afterward? I was concerned that my emotional state would collide with the mission objective, but now I am disturbed by my lack of emotions at all.

Our employer told me that we “would know the cargo when we saw it”. I do believe that we have found what he was interested in. We have met with no resistance as of yet, but there do seem to be life signs aboard the ship, though they are faint, and the gasses in the surrounding area make it difficult to pinpoint their location. I will start sending teams to set up pattern enhancers. We shouldn’t take chances with the gasses interfering with transport.

Today’s “salvage” operation has taken a decidedly macabre turn for me. Our employers neglected to mention that the ship we were to pick apart was Cardassian. They did say to expect bodies, possibly dead and dying. Now, more than ever, I am concerned about my ability to remain impartial. I suppose this will be the test.

Salvage. My favorite. It seems to be a request in this area. At least this one is on a desert planet. I find the climate to be just about right! My Romulan crewmembers don’t seem to mind too much, either, though Keitia declined to come on this trip as excessive light doesn’t agree with her.

We should have the requested parts and be back underway by the end of the day.
