Holy moly omg wtf I actually won a thing. What. That never happens. What.
Also congrats to @captainkoril for winning 2nd place – I applaud you for taking me up on that screenshot-to-screenshot combat thing C:<
I don’t even know what to say, gosh. I mean, aside from the fact that I’m super grateful and that I’ve decided to not enter any other contests in the future to keep it fair for everyone else.
I’d host my own contest but all I could award is a sense of accomplishment and maybe some tribbles
Congrats to us! It was an honorable battle!
omg yes a bare ankle! Or I guess in Miv’s case…scaly…ears?
She covers pretty much everything up. Including her sexy neck scales o.0 She gets too cold on those Federation vessels and starbases to wear anything revealing!
If you think about it, admiralty system assignments could be rough plot ideas.
Patrol outlying colonies with a reality-warping flux event? Sounds awfully like a Star Trek episode.
Support response to medical emergency with a pirate raiding party event? That actually could make sense.
I like some of the doff assignments and outcomes, too. Every now and then, I get one and think, “wow, that really sounds like something that crew/captain would actually do or encounter” or “TOO FUNNY I CAN NOT SEE THEM DOING THAT” when it’s some random Party On A Planet or something.
Miv keeps getting the Ambassador Tours the Ship one. Why so many ambassadors touring a random escort? It’s getting weird.

my computer can’t see the new lighting system. I don’t get the shiny yet. Gotta upgrade soon though. I can’t wait!

It looks super pretty ^^
Aw man I get that. You’ll see it soon!!!!
My little laptop manages okay with lighting 2.0 turned on, but it certainly isn’t like, 60 fpsit’s more like 20 fps
But oh man it’s so worth it imo. Especially as a person who prefers aesthetics over most everything else. I guess a high performance computer would be almost necessary if you’re interested in getting high DPS but why when you can go slowly and smell the roses, appreciate the details, see all the shiny, notice all the upside-down console graphics,
Yeah, mine meets the minimum requirements, but it…is literally held together with tape and overheats if I look at it wrong. Laptops, urgh. I’m saving up for a gaming desktop. Where I live, I need the fans. This has been the best graphics I’ve ever had though and I am loooovvvvving it. You should see the first screens I ever got, on my old old old computer that probably shouldn’t have even been STO compatible. They are HILARIOUSLY bad xD I lagged so much in those days I’m surprised I leveled at all. I was practically blind on missions.

@captainkoril this is the closest I was able to get Nora and Echo together LOL….
LOL Echo was busy gettin’ stuff done. I felt so sad that I disconnected and missed out on the rest of the fight with that inventory full of syrup 😦

:DD
“Wait,” I thought. “How are you interacting with another player?”
Yeah.
I literally forgot STO is an MMO. Which should tell you something about how I play it…
Oh man, believe me, I’m often the same way. I’ll chat with friends/fleets sometimes but usually I’m doing my own thing.
When I first started playing I didn’t think it was an MMO. I thought NPCs were sprinting up and down ESD and standing on Admiral Quinn’s head, and that maybe this game was just a tiiiny but bugged. I was so wrong. But right about the bugs :v
I pretty much keep to myself, too. I used to be more social, but I’m so laggy now that I can’t keep up anymore. I do like to hang out in the less serious zones though and party.
Everyone is an NPC AU. I love it. So real.
