ya know tumblr has really made me feel like the shittiest horse owner EVER for boarding my horse in a stall and giving him dry lot turnout. there are no options here??? and i’m not rich. i can either stop competing, and board my horse out in the boonies on an okay dirt lot with acreage, or i can board him in a stall, compete with him, and see him more often. i’m sorry, but i really don’t think i’m a horrible horse owner for not being able to give my horse a perfect life.
Sameeeee. And tbh my horse losses a lot of weight when he’s out in the pasture 24/7 cause he 1-doesn’t stop running around, and 2- is distracted by literally everything for feeding time and usually misses half his meals (and it wasn’t possible where he was to bring in to feed him) and I’m the worst barn hopper ever because I always find a major fault with the management of the places I board except for the places that have stall board
I don’t even have a horse yet and tumblr makes me feel like the worst horse owner ever.
