   “Admiral Koril…we need to talk about the balloons,” Quinn was using his gentle-but-firm Cadet Rebuking voice.
   Miv sat down and inclined her face ever so slightly toward him, hooded eyes wide in feigned innocence, “What balloons are those?”
   Quinn sighed, dropping the rebuke into the deep, dark warp trail of years behind them, “I think you know, Miv. Is this the sort of shenanigans you get up to out there on DS9?”
   “Only on special occasions, Sir,” she replied formally, but a warm smile smoothed her stoic features, “It’s good to see you, Jorel. Maybe one day, one of us will make the trip when we’re not fighting for our lives.”
   Quinn nodded, “Happy birthday, Mivrana.”
