Your head will make a fine trophy!
Both Mivs are now Tron-tastic in their clubwear. I didn’t get around to Divina yet. I may even subject Kovell to it. I love glowy outfits!
Escape pod log, supplemental
Day 149.1
M. Koril
A tractor beam has locked onto the pod and towed us inside of a ship. Tovan remains unconscious. Whoever they are, they’re not bothering with transporters. Whatever happens now, I will defend my crew and myself, though my insurrection may not last long as I have no weapons. If this is to be my final log…I suppose that I hope whoever is reading and listening to these finds them entertaining. A cautionary tale, perhaps.
End log.

Day 142
M. Koril
Tovan and I got the distress beacon working. He says the gash on my face is getting worse, but I keep forgetting that it is there. I’m much more aware of the cold, and the quiet. Our supplies will only last us another week at most, and we’re just a tiny damaged Romulan escape pod in a vast area between systems. I’m not sure the beacon is even strong enough to be heard outside of the immediate area. And even if it is, who would help us?
I don’t dare say these things out loud, Tovan is trying so hard to stay positive. He keeps saying that Demala survived, even though he admits that he didn’t see her actually leave the ship. However, it wasn’t long ago that I suggested naming the escape pod. Perhaps we’re both becoming somewhat senile in our isolation.
Space has never seemed so empty.

Day 125
Keitia and D’Van, two of my crew who were becoming…my family. The Jevonite…the ship that was becoming our home. They’re gone. I know that for sure.
All I have left is this life pod and Tovan. I don’t even know if anyone else survived.

Day 118
The Tal Shiar.
How…why…? We were leaving Romulan space. Why attack us now?
I…I guess you can never really be free of them, once they have your scent. Once you’re on their list, and there’s no one to stand behind you.
Cowards. Attacking one little ship with a whole fleet.
Computer, I can’t do this right now. End log.

Day 117
I transmitted the information that we found at the Tal Shiar base, over what I was assured was a secure channel back to our ex-Romulan Empire contact. She confirmed that she received it, so we are on our way out of Romulan space. We haven’t been cleared for travel to the Delta Quadrant yet, so I am not sure where we will go yet. I just want to get away from this green-blooded mess we seem to have been caught in the middle of. Somehow I doubt that we’d be welcomed in Federation space, but they don’t control everything. There’s got to be space somewhere to slip through.

Day 112
I led a team to the facility that we were informed was a potential Tal Shiar base. We found a single Tal Shiar agent working there and removed the threat before she could call for backup. We did not find the missing device, but their computers revealed a good deal of information about this device, and other related technology that has been hidden by the old Romulan government all over the system. It appears to be of Iconian origin, relating to their use of gateway technology.
I’m not sure what it all means yet, but I can definitely see why both the Republic and the Tal Shiar are desperate to get their hands on this information and technology, and keep it from each other.
